HI, I’M KELSEY!
Fuelled by a love for exceptional branding, social media, aesthetics, and strategy, along with an unmatched passion for the restaurant industry, Serving Socials was built.
During my time as a Journalism and Communications student, I began learning the ins and outs of content creation, marketing and entrepreneurship. Throughout my studies, I gained hands-on experience in a variety of restaurants—from Irish pubs and steakhouses to burger bars and fine Italian dining. It was here I discovered my true passion—restaurants.
After graduation, I worked part-time in restaurants while also holding a full-time marketing position at an animal nutrition company. I later transitioned to freelance marketing and social media roles before joining a social media marketing agency. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of social media, branding, and design.
I have always felt moved to be an entrepreneur, so my next natural step was building Serving Socials. I am so thrilled that you are here!
I’m a Capricorn through and through. I’m extremely hard-working, have a wicked dry sense of humour, and am fiercely loyal to those closest to me.
My dad’s side of the family is extremely entrepreneurial! My grandfather always said that he knew I’d end up working for myself.
I have a Golden Retriever named Cowboy—but I’m sure you already know that, because I talk about him nonstop.
I met both my best friend and my fiancé while I was working in restaurants; I am beyond appreciative of my time on the floor, and I think I learned more in those 10 years than I could’ve in any classroom.
